Incorrect Meter Reading

 

If you’ve submitted an incorrect meter reading, send us a message via your online account with the correct reading and the date it was taken. Include whether the reading is for the day or night if you have an Economy 7 or Economy 10 dual rate meter.

 

Mixed up day and night readings

 

If you have a dual rate meter and are unsure which display is for day or night, you can carry out a very easy time test.

 

How to do a time test on an Economy 7 or Economy 10 meter

 

Take both readings in the morning after 8.30am and again in the afternoon at 2pm. Only one of the readings should have changed, this will be your day reading. The other reading will be the same as it was when you took it in the morning, this will be your night reading.

 

Once you’ve taken these readings you can send them to us in a message via your online account using this format:

 

- Meter Serial number

- Date the readings were taken

- Morning meter readings:

- Time: xx:xxam

- Reading one: xxxxx

- Reading two: xxxxx

- Afternoon meter readings:

- Time: xx:xxam

- Reading one: xxxxx

- Reading two: xxxxx
